About Manish

I am Dr. Manish Jain, a social-impact changemaker, social entrepreneur, and the driving force behind initiatives that seek to make dignity, inclusion, and equal opportunity a reality for transgender persons and other marginalised communities in India. I believe that a person's identity should never determine their access to employment, education, healthcare, or the opportunity to live with pride. This belief shapes my work through Kineer Garima Foundation and my broader efforts to bring communities, corporates, and citizens together to challenge exclusion. I am known for approaching social challenges differently. Rather than treating marginalised communities as recipients of charity, I focus on creating sustainable opportunities and changing the systems that perpetuate inequality. Through TRANS-formation, I work towards making workplaces genuinely inclusive. Through Chai with Dignity, I support transgender entrepreneurs in building livelihoods while creating meaningful interactions that challenge social prejudice. Initiatives such as Kinnar Mahotsav, Forgotten Families, and Parivartaan Ka Teeka extend this commitment to cultural recognition, family support, healthcare, and well-being. Built Kineer Garima Foundation to advance dignity, equal opportunity, and systemic inclusion for transgender persons and other marginalised communities.
Reached over 6 lakh ration beneficiaries through food security initiatives, with support valued at approximately ₹30 crore.
Supported over 30,000 people through health-related interventions and community healthcare initiatives.
