ELIGIBILITY


The Mentor of the Year award is open to women who have demonstrated exceptional mentorship skills within their professional community. Eligible candidates must have at least five years of professional experience and a proven track record of providing guidance, support, and inspiration to mentees. Nominees should have significantly contributed to the personal and professional growth of others, fostering an environment of learning and development. This includes offering career advice, facilitating opportunities for advancement, and being a role model in their field. The nominee's impact should be evident through testimonials from mentees and measurable achievements within their mentorship efforts.




Judging Criteria


The "Mentor of the Year" award will be judged based on the following criteria:

2. Commitment: Consistent and long-term dedication to mentoring, including the frequency and quality of interactions.
3. Skills Development: Success in helping mentees acquire new skills and achieve significant milestones.

5. Feedback: Positive testimonials and feedback from mentees.

QUALITATIVE CRITERIA


The Mentor of the Year award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to guiding and developing others. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing valuable career and personal growth advice, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment, and making a significant impact on the mentees’ professional development. This person should exhibit outstanding communication and listening skills, patience, and the ability to inspire and motivate others. Additionally, they should be recognized for their dedication to helping others achieve their goals, demonstrating genuine care and investment in the success of their mentees.




METRICS


Metrics for the Mentor of the Year award could include the number of mentees positively impacted, demonstrated growth or achievements of mentees under their guidance, testimonials or feedback from mentees highlighting the mentor's effectiveness and support, the mentor's commitment to fostering professional development and growth opportunities, evidence of successful mentorship programs or initiatives implemented, and the mentor's ability to inspire, empower, and guide mentees towards their goals.
